Position Counter

Functional Extension:

The position counter can be used for simple positioning applications. The counter detects

  • the physical change (internal motor model in the case of SLSM-PSM) of the axis and
  • Digital IN3 & Digital IN4 (similar to an HTL encoder)
  • External position input: for example via an IO-Link sensor

and tracks this in the form of a counter with a maximum resolution of 65,535 steps per revolution.
