Focus on the future – 38 junior staff start their careers at Lenze

Hamelin, August 2, 2023: Excitement and anticipation were in the air as 38 junior employees started their careers at automation specialist Lenze on 1 August. The new Lenzians are starting their careers in ten commercial and technical apprenticeships and courses of study - and were given valuable insights on their very first day.

Christian Wendler, CEO at Lenze, did not miss the opportunity to personally welcome the new colleagues: "We are very pleased to welcome you to the Lenze family today. You have chosen the right company and I would like to motivate you to be courageous and creative and to bring in new ideas. The willingness to keep learning and be open to new things is in the Lenze DNA and is the best foundation for your professional future."

Henning Kautz, Head of Education and Training at Lenze, also congratulated the freshly graduated trainees and students on their step. "You have an exciting time of intensive learning, growth and personal development ahead of you. During this time, we will give you the know-how and tools of the trade, and we will be there to help and advise you at all times.

Because an unforgettable day includes nice surprises, all trainees and dual students were presented with a laptop, a T-shirt with Lenze imprint, and a pair of safety shoes. And the talents have already learned quite a bit, too. After the welcome by the Executive Board, the training manager and the responsible trainers, training sessions were on the agenda. Brian Michaelis, head of occupational safety, explained the most important rules for working safely. After a detour to the canteen for lunch together, trainer Christian Beyer explained some basics in terms of IT security while he started up the computers together with the new colleagues. One focus was on cybersecurity, which is of central importance to globally active companies like Lenze. Finally, the trainees and students took a close look at various areas of the company in an exciting company rally before heading off for their first well-earned evening off.

The 38 talented young people are starting out at Lenze as electronics technicians, IT specialists, mechatronics technicians, warehouse specialists and industrial clerks, as well as dual students. The automation specialist is still looking for junior staff for 2024: More information at https://ausbildung.lenze.com
