An operation mode for identifying the pole position was implemented as an additional CiA operation mode.
The function can be used in the form of the additional CiA operation mode 0x6060 = -12: Pole position identification.
The corresponding parameters are located in the Base Firmware in index 0x2C60 to 0x2C63 and 0x2C66.
The function block 'L_MC1P_PolePositionIdentification' has been added to the FAST library 'L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic' from V03.20.00 as interface to use this mode from the PLC application.
A PLC application of the i950 must contain the L_MC1P_PolePositionIdentification block to control this identification. The parameterizable technology applications do not contain this interface at present.
When using the i950 as a CiA actuator, the interface block can also be executed in the higher-level motion PLC.
With the drive modes 0x2825 = 5: Pole position ident. (360°), 0x2825 = 6: Pole position ident. (min. mov.), 0x2825 = 7: Pole pos. ident. (w/o mov) could already be used with the previous versions.
The new function C6060 = -12 offers the advantage that the standard CiA mode does not have to be left to identify the polling. This operation can now be controlled directly from the motion software.
