Focus on the future

41 young talents start their careers at automation specialist Lenze

The air is full of anticipation. Over the next few weeks, 41 junior employees will be starting their careers at automation expert Lenze. 20 of them will start their careers on August 2, 2021 in Groß Berkel in nine technical and commercial apprenticeships and courses of study. They are all united by an interest in modern, forward-looking drive and automation technology.

Christian Wendler, CEO at Lenze, did not miss the opportunity to personally welcome the new Lenzians on their first day of work: "I'm glad you chose Lenze. You have made the right choice for your career start. Be courageous, creative and open to new things. Contribute your ideas. I look forward to shaping the future together with you – in the spirit of OneLenze."

In addition to getting to know their new employer, their new colleagues and the other apprentices and dual students, there was a lot more on the agenda on the first day at Lenze: from organizational matters such as handing out employee ID cards, the obligatory group photo following the required safety briefing and the company rally at the Groß Berkel site. During the course of the day, training manager Thomas Czekanowski gave his new protégés a few tips: "Never lose your curiosity, look outside the boxand build up professional networks as early as possible. Thereupon, you'll be well positioned for your career path."

The coming days are also well filled. Four trainees from the second year of their apprenticeship report to their new colleagues on everything that awaits them in their training or studies. There will be introductions to various programs such as the time recording system and data protection training. They also explore their first areas of work at Lenze.

Lorena Jannausch, a mechatronics technician apprentice at Lenze as of now, says: "I'm looking forward to starting my professional future at Lenze. Everyone is very nice and helpful. I will certainly learn a lot and will be able to introduce my abilities well to the company."

For 2022, Lenze is still looking for junior employees who are enthusiastic about driving the digital transformation in automation. For more information, visit ausbildung.lenze.com.
