The communication interface of the i950 servo inverter has been expanded to include the "PROFIBUS" communication module.(Type;>I9MAFP0000000S) extended.

Two usage options are supported:

  1. Integration of the i950 servo inverter into PROFIBUS networks using the prepared technology applications.
    As with all other fieldbuses, the full functionality and performance of the i950 can be utilized and adapted to the application through simple parameterization.
  2. Replacement of Global Drive and L-force devices (8200vector, 9300, 8400, 9400) 

By integrating the parameter 0x2341:011 "Set device ID" can be the identification of the PROFIBUS deviceit eset.  

This ensures that the target system-specific functions are compatible and that the identification data is set identically. This allows the inverter to report to the master via PROFIBUS using the identification data listed below.
