The functionality of pollage identification (PLI 360°) has been extended by two modes in order to achieve a higher accuracy of the determined pollage, which is particularly necessary for linear motors.
In the new modes, PLI 360° is performed once in both directions. The pollage angles identified in each case are averaged and, as usual, set as active pollage. 

New and extended parameters:

  • PLI(360°) Settings: rotation: 0x2C61:3 = [2] "CW + CCW" and
  • PLI(360°) Settings: rotation: 0x2C61:3 = [3]  "CCW + CW".
  • PLI(360°) settings: ixt for rotation reversal [in %]:  0x2C61:6

Since linear motors sometimes have to work with high motor currents, it is possible that the monitoring of the Ixt utilization is triggered by the PLI being executed twice.
For this reason, before the second PLI run is executed, the system waits until the Ixt load has fallen to below 0x2C61:6 set percentage value.
