Regardless of the respective IP configuration of the PROFINET interface and the i950 engineering port, the described connection problems with PROFINET communication now don't occur anymore.

 
What happens?
PROFINET communication to the i950 devices does not start when the PROFINET PLC is started or after a line interruption.
PROFINET communication does not start until the connection to the i950 engineering port is interrupted.

When does the behaviour occur?
  • When starting the PROFINET PLC or after a line interruption and
  • the IP addresses of the PROFINET interface (parameter 0x2382:001) and the i950 engineering port (parameter 0x2452:001) are in the same subnet.

Controller c5x0 FW:  only V01.04.xx 
Controller c750 FW:  only V01.04.xx
 
Short-term measures / Evaluation / Recommendations:
Set the IP conifguration of the PROFINET interface and the i950 engineering port so that the IP addresses are in different subnets.
