Corrected from:
Servo-Inverter i950 FW from V01.07.04.2313
Response od the new version:
All necessary parameters are now taken over.
What happens?
In individual cases, the parameter values of the Servo Inverter i950 or the subordinate EtherCAT slaves (Frequency Inverter i550 and IO1000 Bus Coupler EPM-S130) are different from the values set in the PLC Designer project.
When does the behaviour occur?
The behaviour described above occurs when a PLC Designer project with the following sequence is modified and transferred to the i950 Servo Inverter:
A boot application is available on the i950 Servo Inverter.
The PLC project from step 1 is transferred with parameter values changed to the boot project (parameters of the controller or the EtherCAT slaves) via download.
Restart servo inverter, either by switching to mains or via parameter 0x2022/35='On/Start[1]' (=device commands: restart device).
Execute the command 'Clean All' (menu 'Create') or change the PLC project, e.g. the PLC logic, but without changing the values of the parameters. I.e. the parameter sets of the servo inverter and the subordinate slaves remain as they were in step 2.
Transfer the PLC Designer project to the i950 Servo Inverter again.
In the i950 Servo Inverter, after downloading the PLC project, the parameter values from the boot application become active and thus differ from the parameter values in the PLC Designer project.
Which product are affected?
Servo-Inverter i950 FW, only with TA User (application selection 0x4000='TA User [10000]').
Short-term measures / evaluation / recommendations:
After each download, update the boot project online (generate boot project):
Execute manually or
by setting the option 'Boot application implicitly on download'
(select object 'Application', context menu 'Properties', category 'Boot application').
Evaluation/Recommendations:
Under the conditions described above, it is possible that the i950 Servo-Inverter, or the subordinate EtherCAT slaves, do not operate with the parameter values set in the PLC Designer project. This can lead to unexpected misbehaviour of the machine. This functional restriction does not occur during operation, but when changes are made to the PLC project, such as during the commissioning phase.
Not affected by this functional restriction:
- Download per Online-Change
- Servo-Inverter i950 parameterised exclusively via EASY starter.
