What happens?
Immediately after booting the i950, monitoring responds with the following error message, although the encoder position has not changed:
  • 0x7381 "Hiperface absolute value not valid because motor speed is too high at slot A"
When does the behaviour occur?
One cable technology (OCT):
Absolute value encoder Hiperface DSL is used as motor feedback (0x2DE1:1 = 10: Hiperface DSL).
When powering-on the device (Boot-up).

Short-term measures / Evaluation/ Recommendations:
There is no known remedy.
The behavior does not necessarily occur with every boot and is therefore not necessarily detected during commissioning.

Hiperface DSL encoders (OCT) can not be used with the affected firmware versions of i950.
