Pole position identification (PPI at standstill): New parameter (0x2C63:2) for current amplitude (from V01.05.02)
Function extention: Commissioning function Pole position identification (PPI at standstill) - New setting parameter:
0x2C63:2 (0x3463:2): Adjustment current amplitude

Servo inverter i950 FW: from V01.05.02.1788
Application:
When using some synchronous motor types, it may happen that the pollage values determined by PPI at standstill have a greater deviation from the actual pollage value (determined with PPI-360°). If highly scattered pollage values occur, the cause may be that the "operating point" of the motor is not hit when the PPI is moved at standstill, although the identification method varies the required measurement signals (current pulses) within a certain range. Using the new setting parameter, the current amplitude for the measurement signals can now be adjusted if necessary to meet the "operating point" of the synchronous motor.
Experience shows that motors from other manufacturers can be particularly affected. In the case of Lenze motors, it can be assumed that the PPI method works without any adjustment of the current amplitude via the new parameter.
