0x2825 manual control mode is not reset after interruption of communication (corrected from V01.03.07)

Response of the new version:
After an interruption of communication during Manual operation (0x2825 Drive mode selection =  4:  Manual control mode), the 0x2825 Drive mode selection will be set to "CiA402 operation mode [0]" in order to avoid the faulty behaviour as decribed now. 

 
What happens?
After an interruption of communication during Manual operation (C2825 Drive mode selection = 4:  Manual control mode), the inverter can no longer be controlled via the CiA control word or the Interface TA. When enabling the inverter after restoring communication, the axis immediately unexpectedly traverses with the last setpoints from the Manual control mode.
 
When does this behaviour occur?
The behaviour occurs when the timeout-monitoring function of the communication link responds during Manual operation (C2825 Drive mode selection = 4:  Manual control mode).
  • Fault Id = 0x2009FF18
  • Event: Axis A. Communication timeout in manual mode
C2825 Drive mode selection remains set to 4:  Manual control mode and is not, as expected, reset to the value that was valid before starting manual control.

Manual operation is typically started via the Manual dialog in the EASY Starter.
 

Which products are affected?
Servo inverter i950 FW

Short-term measures:
In order to control the axis again via the CiA control word or the Interface TA, manually set C2825 Drive mode selection to 0:  CiA402 operation mode.
 
Evaluation/recommendations:
During the unexpected movement during Manual operation (check the direction of rotation), there are no travel range limitations and limit position monitoring functions active. 
An interruption of communication during Manual operation is unlikely.
