Corrected from:
9400 HighLine V15.00.09
9400 Servo PLC V09.00.09
Response of the new version:
The speed no longer drifts away.
What happens?
Although the TTL encoder as motor encoder does not rotate, the actual speed display C51 continuously changes within a few seconds up to several 100,000 rpm (positive or negative). The 'Motor: Actual speed > C00596' monitoring function responds (Error number 0x007b0020). The display of the current motor position does not indicate any changes.
When does this behaviour occur?
The behaviour occurs if the following conditions coincide:
A TTL encoder is used as motor encoder: C495 = 1 and C422 = 0
A sync source has been activated: C1120 > 0
The actual encoder speed has previously been almost zero. At standstill there are no edges detected on the track signals.
Which products are affected?
9400 HighLine V05.xx
9400 Servo PLC V04.15
Short-term measures:
None. Synchronisation and automatic active time counting cannot be used simultaneously.
Evaluation/recommendations:
The behaviour is more likely to occur with TTL encoders with only a few increments.
