Corrected from:
- Servo inverter 9400 HighLine V14.08.00
- Servo inverter 9400 Servo PLC V08.08.00
Response of the new version:
The SYNC_wSyncCycleTime output variable of the LS_SyncInput system block indicates the active cycle time, as expected.
What happens?
The SYNC_wSyncCycleTime output variable of the LS_SyncInput system block does not indicate the currently used synchronisation cycle, but always indicates the value from C1120.
In the case of a synchronisation process via an active module, the active synchronisation cycle is not entered in C1120, but the module enters the required value in the shadow code C1125. However, so far, the SYNC_wSyncCycleTime output has only been derived from C1120.
When does this behaviour occur?
When using an active communication module as sync source, the active synchronisation cycle is not entered in C1120, but the module enters the required value in the shadow code C1125. The SYNC_wSyncCycleTime output is, however, only derived from C1120.
Which products are affected?
- Servo inverter 9400 HighLine V14.08.00 and higher
- Servo inverter 9400 Servo PLC V08.08.00 and higher
Short-term measures:
Determine the active synchronisation cycle from the fieldbus synchronisation settings.
Evaluation/recommendations:
Diagnostics restriction; the SYNC_wSyncCycleTime output variable of the LS_SyncInput system block cannot be used for diagnosing the active synchronisation cycle.
