Asynchronous PDO transmission for I/O 1000 (CAN) with analog inputs

Question:
What do you have to observe if you want to use the transmission type 'asynchronous - device-profile-specific' for analog input modules at an I/O 1000 bus coupler (EPM-S110)?

Answer:
First, you have to change the parameter 0x6423 to 255.
Error Event Driven Analog Inputs.bmp
Meaning: Global activation/deactivation of the event-controlled process data transfer of the analog input signals. The setting in 0x6423 has a higher priority than the settings in the TxPDOs.

In addition, you also have to have change the value in the parameter 0x6421 to 7.

Meaning: This setting enables the interrupt for analog inputs / outputs.

And finally, you have to set the transmission type of the analog input PDO to 255 (asynchronous - device-profile-specific).

Only after these changes, an asynchronous input PDO will be transmitted in the case of a value change.
