Incorrect triggering of An01: AIN1_I < 4 mA or An02: AIN2_I < 4 mA
Corrected from:
Inverter Drives 8400 StateLine V16.01.00.00
Inverter Drives 8400 HighLine V16.01.00.00
Inverter Drives 8400 TopLine V16.01.00.00
Response of the new version:
The limit values have been adapted. The open-circuit monitoring function only responds in the case of an open circuit. In the case of slight variations in the minimum current values, the monitoring function does not respond.
What happens?
The An01 error: AIN1_I < 4 mA or An02: AIN2_I < 4 mA may trip due to slight variations of the analog measured value in the lower limit range. This erroneously triggers an open-circuit error.
When does this behaviour occur? The behaviour only occurs if the analog input is configured as a 4 ... 20-mA current loop (C00034/1 // C00034/2 = 2) with an analog input signal around I = 4 mA.
Which products are affected?
Inverter Drives 8400 StateLine lower than V16.01.00.00
Inverter Drives 8400 HighLine lower than V16.01.00.00
Inverter Drives 8400 TopLine lower than V16.01.00
Short-term measures:
Switch off the monitoring function by setting C00598/1 and C00598/2 or C00034/1 and C00034/2 to 0 .. 20mA and implement a monitoring function in the FB editor.
Evaluation/recommendations:
With the default response settings, the incorrect tripping of the open-circuit monitoring function will result in a quick stop. This may lead to problems in the application.
