SSI encoder, wrong position for linear-bipolar encoders

Corrected from:
Inverter Drives 8400 TopLine from firmware version 14.00.00.00

Response of the new version?
The calculation of the actual position in the negative range is carried out correctly.

Which products are affected?
Inverter Drives 8400 TopLine with a firmware version lower than 14.00.00.00

What happens?
The current position in the inverter does not proceed in a continuous manner and is wrong when the raw value of the SSI encoder enters the negative range.

When does the problem occur?
When a linear SSI encoder is used, which also supplies negative raw values, and if the LS_MultiEncoder material measure is set to C1110=3 'linear bipolar'.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
None

Evaluation:
A different encoder should be used. Even if the negative range is not approached, positioning to the zero position may result in maloperation due to overshoot.
