Application:

The evaluation of the travel range limit switches and the software limit positions depends on several options. The status displays summarise these conditions.

Travel range limit switches are monitored if:

  • Optionally activated in the Speed follower, Position follower and Manual jog mode
  • Positioning and StandBy mode is active
  • Depending on the corresponding homing mode in operating mode Homing (see activation matrix in operating mode 'Homing')

Software limit positions are monitored if:

  • Optionally activated in the Speed follower, Position follower and Manual jog mode
  • Positioning and StandBy mode is active
  • No cycle length is set (C1201/001 = 0.0000 units)
  • Positive software limit position > negative software limit position (C1229/001 > C1229/002)
  • The home position is known (C1241/000 bit13 = TRUE)
