L_MC1P: 'Manual jog' and override change lead to unexpected axis movement (corrected from V3.12.0)

Corrected from:
- Library:  L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic  (FAST Motion)  as of V03.12.00.70
(contained in PLC Designer  as of V03.12.00.177)

Response of the new version:
After the correction the function behaves as expected.

What happens?
After changing the override value (speed, acceleration or jerk), the axis performs an unexpected movement. Irrespective of the traversing direction selected via the FB used, a positioning process to the 0 position is carried out. At the 0 position, the speed is abruptly set to zero units/s.

When does this behaviour occur?
  • The MC_MoveVelocity function or 'Manual jog' is used and activated by means of a technology module (TM) or the L_MC1P_AxisBasicControl FB.
  • The axis is referenced and the software limit position monitoring is activated.
  • The override is changed during the motion process.
Which products are affected?
- Library:  L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic  (FAST Motion)
  (contained in PLC Designer)

Short-term measures:
Only change the override at standstill when using the 'Manual jog' function or MC_MoveVelocity and the software limit position monitoring is activated.
