Functional description
Possibility of connecting all 4 tracks of an HTL encoder:
DigIn1: A
DigIn2: B
DigIn6: A-
DigIn7: B-
This makes it possible to considerably improve open-circuit monitoring on the basis of the complementary signals that are available now.
- Evaluation up to approx. 400 Hz by comparison of the signal levels 4 x for 1 ms each.
- Evaluation from approx. 400 Hz by comparison of the speeds detected at DigIn12 and -67.
- Error configuration by C0605/1
- Configuration of the digital inputs must be "FreqIn 2-track" for both (C112/1+2) and the number of increments must be parameterised in both codes (C420/1.2).
- Speed sensor selection via C495/0 = 5: "HTL encoder 4-fold evaluation"
- An open circuit is only detected if 4-fold evaluation is selected as speed sensor. Open circuit detection with a selection as position encoder is not provided for yet.

Due to the input frequency of inputs 6 and 7, the function can currently only be used up to 5 kHz. See Service Notice No. 04/2014.
