Faulty mains recovery detection (status signal 'Mains OK')

Corrected from:

With the single-axis controllers and the regenerative power supply modules:
Devices with a serial number starting from xxxxxxxx07811976000001

With the power supply modules:
E94APNE0104 and E94APNE0364 since hardware version 1D

E94APNE1004 and E94APNE2454 since hardware version 1C

Response of the new version:
With correct mains supply, the status 'mains ok' will be signalled like expected.

What happens?
With the single-axis controllers and the regenerative power supply modules:
The status signal DI_bMainSupplyOk indicates a logic FALSE level (permanently or toggling) although the supply voltage at the terminals L1, L2 and L3 is correct on the supply side.

With the power supply modules:
Although the supply voltage at the terminals L1, L2 and L3 is correct on the supply side,
·         the digital output DO1 indicates a logic FALSE level for the 'Mains OK' status
(permanently or toggling) and
·         the green LED marked with 'Mains' on the front of the device is off.

When does this behaviour occur?
The behaviour occurs when switching on the power supply for the above-mentioned devices (again).
Due to an error in the measuring circuit (hardware), the mains recovery is not reliably
detected.

Which products are affected?
9400 HighLine single-axis controllers (all firmware versions)
9400 StateLine single-axis controllers (all firmware versions)
9400 Servo PLC single-axis controllers (all firmware versions)
E94ARNE0xx4 regenerative power supply modules (all firmware versions)
E94APNE0xx4 power supply modules (all versions)

Short-term measures:
For the power supply modules and single-axis controllers:
The devices do not provide any reliable status for mains recovery. Evaluate the
undervoltage detection of the connected axes (DI_bUVDetected).
As an alternative, you can use the monitor signal of the DC-bus voltage (system variable
MI_dnActualDCBusVoltage_n) via an FB interconnection on the user side to
derive a status for the power supply of the axis.
Settings via code C0185 do not provide any remedy. C0185 allows you to
select a switching threshold above which the status signal DI_bMainSupplyOk
changes to TRUE. There is, however, no setting for C0185, with which the behaviour
reliably no longer occurs.

For the regenerative power supply modules:
Alternatively evaluate the status signal LI_bMainsVoltageOK
'Voltage supply at L1, L2 and L3 ok'.

Evaluation/recommendations:
The behaviour concerns the generation of the status signal 'Mains OK'. Apart from that,
it does not lead to any further device responses (i.e. no error message, no warning, etc.). Accordingly,
the actual drive characteristics/the device function are/is not restricted.
