8400 HighLine and TopLine: FW version = 13.00.00.00
Response of the new version?
Saving the holding torque before applying the brake has been optimised.
Which products are affected?
8400 HighLine and TopLine: FW version ≤ 13.00.00.00
What is the response?
When the brake is applied with active loads, sagging or a short-time acceleration of the load can be noticed. The torque feedforward control does not comply with the holding torque required.
When does the problem occur?
The response occurs in the case of the motor control types with speed feedback if storage of the holding torque before the application of the brake (C2582 bit 4=TRUE) is used to automatically specify the feedforward control torque for releasing the brake.
The error in the stored torque increases the more steeply the deceleration ramps for stopping are set.
Diagnostics options?
Comparison of the feedforward control if the brake has been previously applied from standstill, or in the case of deceleration with steep ramps. If only in the second case a compensating movement on the load can be determined when releasing the brake, this is an indication of maloperation.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.
Evaluation:
A compensating movement when releasing the brake is to be minimised by the torque feedforward control. Due to the fault, this function is not provided. However, the compensating movement usually has no impact on the actual system process.
