Behaviour of the new version:
The EtherCAT bus also changes to Operational, if a parameter channel is used to communicate online via the controller with an EtherCAT node when starting up the EtherCAT bus.
What happens? The EtherCAT bus does not change to Operational but remains in PreOp.
The SoftMotion node reports the error 1100.
The IPC logbook displays the following error message: L_ECSxM_SM_1 (1007): Mailbox init command timeout. State change of slave='PS'.
When does the problem occur? The above-described response sporadically occurs if, when starting up the EtherCAT bus, a parameter channel (SDO) is used to communicate online with an EtherCAT node via the controller, e.g. with the EASY Starter or a visualisation.

Possible diagnostics: None
Short-term measures/recommendations: Ensure that, when starting up the EtherCAT bus, no SDO is used to communicate with an EtherCAT node via the controller. Before starting up the EtherCAT bus, disconnect, for instance, the EASY Starter from the EtherCAT field devices.
Evaluation: The function restriction occurs if communication with an EtherCAT node shall already take place via the controller when starting up the EtherCAT bus.
