Functional description
The L_SwitchPoint_1 block is now provided with 8 instead of four position switch points, the positions of which can be specified via process signals (FB inputs).
In addition, 8 further position switch points in the new L_SwitchPointPar_1 block can be used, the positions of which are specified via parameters.
For both blocks, the position switch points can be inverted individually via parameters.
Applications
This FB is used to implement position switch points, i.e. digital switches, the binary state (FALSE/TRUE) of which depends on the actual position.
By means of a position switch point, for instance peripheral devices such as painting nozzles or knives can be started depending on the tool position.
