Eliminated from:
Inverter Drives 8400 StateLine, HighLine, and TopLine from firmware version 12.00.00.00
Behaviour of the new version?
Via C905, the output rotating field of the inverter can be inverted to correct reversed phase sequences. In this case, two phases at the output of the inverter are inverted.
The function can be used for all motor control modes with an asynchronous machine.
Which products are affected?
Inverter Drives 8400 StateLine, HighLine, and TopLine with a firmware version lower than 12.00.00.00
What happens?
An inversion of the motor phase direction of rotation via C905 does not show any effect.
When does the problem occur
In motor control modes C006=2; 4; 7; 9 of an asynchronous machine.
Diagnostics options?
If the motor phases U, V, W are not connected in the correct sequence, it must be possible to invert the direction of rotation of the motor by selecting '1: inverted' in C905.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
None. The motor cable must be connected in correct phase relation.
Evaluation:
The remedy of an in-phase connection of the motor cable can typically be implemented at justifiable expense. The behaviour is definitely detected during commissioning.
