Imax status signal is not always correct (eliminated in 8400 StateLine and HighLine from V11.0, TopLine from V02.0)
Eliminated as of:
StateLine with firmware version V11.00
HighLine with firmware version V11.00
TopLine with firmware version V02.00
Behaviour of the new version?
The bImaxActive status signal displays the correct status in all motor control types.
What happens?
The bImaxActive status signal is not controlled in the servo control operating mode and during the encoderless operation of synchronous motors (SC-ASM, SC-PSM and SLPSM) although the apparent current has reached the set Imax limits values (C0022 and C0023).
When does the problem occur?
When the bImaxActive status signal is evaluated by the application and when the current limit is reached.
Which products are affected?
HighLine with firmware version V06.xx
TopLine with firmware version V01.xx
Diagnostics options?
The status signal is not controlled although the drive operates at the current limit.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Do not use the bImaxActive status signal for the above-mentioned operating modes.
Evaluation:
The behaviour of the signal is detected when the application is integrated during commissioning.
