Extended program code memory (from V4.0 onwards)

Which products are affected?
9400 ServoPLC SW V04.00.12.00

Function description
The 9400 ServoPLC has a mains failure safe memory of 512 KB in order to save cam profile data. From version V4.0 onwards the programmer can decide if he wants to use this memory for saving cam profile data or program codes. Regarding this, he can select the corresponding target system in the 'Target system settings' dialog ('Resources' tab) in the »PLC Designer«. For example:
  Lenze 9400 ServoPLC EM MM4x0 >=V3.x:
    Program code = 768 KB,
    Variable memory = 512 KB
     Cam profile data = 0 KB
  Lenze 9400 ServoPLC MM4x0 >=V3.x:
     Program code = 512 KB,
    Variable memory = 256 KB
     Cam profile data = 512 KB

When importing the PLC application the Engineer checks the target system. Depending on the target system selected the Engineer provides the cam functionality for this drive in the 'Electrical shaft' machine application.

In order to ensure that the Engineer can also identify which target system is selected when being online the 9400 ServoPLC is equipped with code C02119 (active target ID) from V4.0.

Note:
If the target system has been changed in the PLC Designer it is absolutely necessary to download the project with the Engineer in order to activate the desired memory distribution in the device.
