AIF communication - Status bits 8..15 of AIF_Management_IO always equal to zero (eliminated as of OPERATING SYSTEM V8.3)

Eliminated as of:
ECS Application OPERATING SYSTEM  as of V8.3

Behaviour of the new version?
The 'AIF_Management_IO' function now sends all status bits from the controller to the connected AIF communication module, thereby transferring them to the control.

Which products are affected?
ECS Application OPERATING SYSTEM <= V8.0

What happens?
Status bits 8..15 are always read as zero by the receiving control during AIF communication.

When does the problem occur?
During process data communication via the automation interface (AIF) with communication modules which support these status bits and also actively use them in the context of 'AIF_Management_IO', e.g.: EtherCat module 2192 or CANOpen 2178.

Diagnostics options?
Status bits 8..15 are always detected as being equal to 0.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.

Evaluation:
This point is only relevant for the 'newer' communication modules EtherCat 2192 and CANOpen 2178. Older communication modules do not support the status bits concerned (8..15) at all.
