CANaux - SDO jobs received in the Stopped CAN status should be rejected but are not (eliminated as of OPERATING SYSTEM V8.3)

Eliminated as of:
ECS Application OPERATING SYSTEM  as of V8.3
EPL-10200 EI (Drive PLC) as of V8.3
EPL-10200 ET (Drive PLC with technology function) as of V8.3

Behaviour of the new version?
All SDO jobs received when the CANaux (ECS: system bus) is in the 'Stopped' CAN status are now rejected.

Which products are affected?
ECS Application OPERATING SYSTEM  <= V8.0
EPL-10200 EI (Drive PLC) <= V8.2
EPL-10200 ET (Drive PLC with technology function) <= V8.2

What happens?
On the CANaux (ECS: system bus), a response to an SDO job received in the 'Stopped' CAN status is sent immediately after a change to one of the 'PreOperational' or 'Operational' CAN statuses, even though it should not be. In the 'Stopped' CAN state, no CAN telegrams can be sent. A response is only sent to the last SDO job received.

When does the problem occur?
When the CAN status changes from 'Stopped' to either 'PreOperational' or 'Operational', if SDO jobs had previously been received in the 'Stopped' CAN status.

Diagnostics options?
A response is sent to an SDO job received in the 'Stopped' CAN status after a change to the 'PreOperational' or 'Operational' CAN status.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Do not send any SDO jobs to the controller in the Stopped CAN status.
The master control must know the CAN status of the CAN node. The 'Stopped' CAN status of a CAN node cannot be queried by sending an SDO job via the CAN.

Evaluation:
This problem is of little relevance in practice, as the CAN status of the individual CAN nodes is usually monitored by the master control and discrepancies are signalled.
