Clicking sounds of the axis of the 9400 Stateline / Highline

Eliminated from:
EtherCAT E94AYCET FV 2.00 communication module

Behaviour of the new version?
Perfect operation with the 9400 Stateline / Highline is possible if a position setpoint has been selected.

What is the reaction?
The incorrect transfer of the position setpoints may result in an identical angular difference signal within two controller cycles. Hence, the speed is reduced to 0 rpm. The missing angular difference is made up for in the next cycle.

When does the problem occur?
If the cyclic synchronous position mode is used with the 9400 Stateline, sudden torque variations may occur which are perceived as clicking sounds of the motor.

Note:
If speed setpoints are used, clicking sounds of the motor do not occur!

Which products are affected?
EtherCAT E94AYCET FV 1.01 communication module

Diagnostics options?
Clicking sounds of the motor due to sudden torque variations can be perceived.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
None
