Remedied as of:
ECS Posi&Shaft V3.0 and higher
ECS Motion V3.0 and higher
Behaviour of the new version?
Now, the code initialisation values (Lenze setting) in the device description file (*.pdb) correspond to the Lenze settings in the device software (B-SW and A-SW).
Which products are concerned?
ECS Posi&Shaft <= V2.0
ECS Motion <= V2.0
What happens?
There may be differences between a configuration created offline using Global Drive Control (GDC) and a configuration created online. The configuration created offline is based on the Lenze settings in the pdb file; for the configuration created online, the Lenze settings from the device software are decisive. For codes that still have the Lenze setting, different settings will have corresponding effects.
When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs whenever a configuration is created offline using GDC and completely loaded into the ECS axis.
Possible diagnostics?
Compare the following parameter sets:
- Device parameters after loading the Lenze setting
- Parameters after starting GDC offline without previously reading the parameters from the controller.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Before loading the configuration created offline into the controller, compare the parameter sets in GDC and the device. Then check the codes which have different settings.
Assessment:
Only a few codes are actually concerned. If necessary, particularly check the settings for the brake function.
