Reset of the reference information due to an overflow of the internally permissible angle of rotation (remedied from V7.0)

Eliminated from:
9400 HighLine SW V07.00.30.00

Behaviour of the new version?
If an angle of rotation is parameterised whose size is greater than can be internally displayed, the home position is not reset anymore after mains switching.
The internal counter overflow is detected and the comparison value is limited.
Since the maximum position which can be displayed in the application is generally determined by the setting in C100, values greater than 2^(31-C100) cannot be displayed due to the inherent principle.
Therefore, the position may not be returned correctly anymore after mains switching in the case of incorrect parameterisation.
The dependency of the maximum physical angle of rotation must always be matched with the setting in C100.

What is the response?
The reference information is lost after mains switching, although the maximally permissible angle of rotation in parameter C02653 was observed.

When does the problem occur?
The maximum angle of rotation C02653 is parameterised in angular degrees [°] relative to the encoder shaft (360 ° corresponds to an encoder shaft revolution).  This parameter is resolved internally corresponding to the 'resolution of an encoder revolution' (C00100). With the Lenze setting C00100=16 an internal resolution of approx. 182 inc/° results.
The behaviour occurs if the settings in C00100 and C02653 cause a counter overflow (>2^31-1) in the internal resolution of the angle of rotation. This, for instance, applies with the following parameterisation: C00100 = 20 bits/rev. and C02653 = 737280 °.
The parameter C02653 = 737280 ° results in the case of standard multiturn absolute value encoders with an absolute display area of 4096 revolutions (1/2 x 4096 x 360 ° =  737280 °). With the standard Lenze multiturn absolute value encoders (4096 rev.) the behaviour therefore only occurs if C00100>19 is set.

Which products are concerned by this?
9400 HighLine SW ≤ V05.01.01.00
9400 StateLine SW ≤ V4.0

Diagnostics options?
If the reference information is no longer lost with a value smaller than (2^31*360°)/ 2^C00100 it is clear that the behaviour described is available. According to the above-mentioned example this would be C02653 = 737279 ° instead of 737280 °.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Parameterise C02653 with a smaller value. The condition C02653<(2^31*360 °)/ 2^C00100 has to be met.

Evaluation:
The behaviour can result in a loss of the reference information after every mains switching, so that homing has to be repeated.  If the monitoring parameters are adapted, this behaviour is avoided.
