LF-Out and LF-In positions drift for numbers of increments unequal to 2^n (remedied from V7.0)

Eliminated from:
9400 HighLine SW V7.0

Behaviour of the new version?
The digital frequency input/output on the E94AYFLF digital frequency module no longer shows an angular drift when a number of increments that is not a power of two is parameterised.
This means that the full value range of 1 to 16,384 [pulses/revolution] can be used for codes C13011/C14011 for the digital frequency input and for codes C13051/C14051 for the digital frequency output. Master value encoders with numbers of increments of between 1 and 16,384 [pulses/revolution] can be connected at the digital frequency input accordingly.

Description of the problem
When transmitting master angles via digital frequency modules, positions may be drifting.

Which products are affected?
9400 HighLine SW ≤ V5.1

When does the problem occur?
The problem always occurs if the numbers of increments for DFIN or DFOUT have been parameterised unequal to 2^n.

Possible diagnostics?
The function restriction can be diagnosed by checking codes C13051 and C14051 when using the digital frequency output or by checking codes C13011 and C14011 when using the digital frequency input. If one of the codes in question shows a value unequal to 2^n, the described behaviour will occur.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Always enter numbers of increments equal to 2^n for DFIN and DFOUT. Remainder considered denominator/numerator evaluation of the master angle signal can be carried out using the L_SdFactor block if necessary.

Evaluation:
The described function restriction results in position deviations on the slave drives. Follow the 'Short-term measures/recommendations' to avoid this behaviour.
