Faulty display of the brake resistor utilisation (remedied from SL:V2.01 / HL:V3.01 onwards)

Remedied from:
8400 StateLine  SW ≤ V3.01 onwards
8400 HighLine   SW ≤ V2.01 onwards

Behaviour of the new version?
The above-named software version rectifies this functional restriction.

Which products are affected?
8400 StateLine  SW ≤ V3.00
8400 HighLine   SW ≤ V2.00

What happens?
The displayed utilisation of the brake resistor (L-C00133) is calculated incorrectly (too low). As a result, the monitoring function of the brake resistor (L-C00574) may be activated too late.

When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs if a brake resistor connected to a frequency inverter is to be protected by means of the internal monitoring function.

Possible diagnostics?
Check the setting of the monitoring function of the brake resistor (L-C00574).

Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.

Evaluation:
The brake resistor can thermally be overloaded. A full brake resistor protection can only be ensured by hardware monitoring. (Evaluate the thermal detectors of the brake resistor).
