Analog input - Setpoint selection via master current value not possible with open-circuit monitoring (remedied from SL:V3.0 HL:V2.0 onwards)

Remedied from:
8400 StateLine  SW V3.00 onwards
8400 HighLine   SW V2.00 onwards

Behaviour of the new version?
The above-named software version rectifies this functional restriction.

Which products are affected?
8400 StateLine  SW ≤ V2.00
8400 HighLine   SW ≤ V1.00

What happens?
A fail-safe setpoint selection as master current value (4..20 mA) is not possible.

When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs if the analog inputs are configured for a master current value (4..20 mA) (L-C00034/1 und 2 =  2). The input is always identified as 0.

Possible diagnostics?
Check the configuration of the analog inputs (L-C00034/1 and 2 =  2). If necessary, measure the terminal level at the analog inputs and compare the measured value with the display codes of the input current L-C00029/1 and 2).

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Configure the analog inputs for a master current value (0..20 mA) (L-C00034/1 and 2 =  1).

Evaluation:
This behaviour usually occurs during commissioning and can be eliminated by applying the recommendations mentioned before.
