Description
The
HMI Designer is the efficient development environment for Lenze operating units, also called HMI (Human Machine Interfaces).
A difference description is currently prepared.
System requirements
• Microsoft® Windows® 95 / 98 / ME, Windows 2000, Windows NT® 4.0 (as of Service Pack 3) or Windows XP
• IBM-compatible PC (Pentium as of 166 MHz)
• 32 MB RAM
• 100 MB free harddisk capacity
• VGA graphic card
• Pointer (mouse, trackball etc.)
• Free serial interface for communication with the operating unit.
• Installation of the
HMI Designer V1.7
Software installation
Proceed as follows to install Service Pack 1 of the HMI Designer V1.7:
1. Unpack the ZIP-file
HmiDesigner_V17_SP1.ZIP on your PC.
2. Close the HMI Designer if it should already have been started.
3. Start the program
setup(ServicePack1_HMI17).EXE and follow the instructions of the installation program.
Note:
If you have an older version of the
HMI Designer, execute an update on
HMI Designer V1.7 before you execute this update. Consider the following articles in the Application Knowledge Base:
