Description
The
HMI Designer is the powerful development environment for Lenze keypads, which are also called HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces).
Information about function extensions and fault eliminations can be taken from the
difference description.
System requirements
• Microsoft® Windows® 95 / 98 / ME, Windows 2000, Windows NT® 4.0 (from Service Pack 3 on) or Windows XP
• IBM-compatible PC (≥ Pentium 166 MHz)
• 32 MB RAM
• 72 MB free capacity available on your hard disk
• VGA graphic card
• Pointer (mouse, trackball etc.)
• Free serial interface for the communication with the operating unit.
• Installation of
HMI Designer V1.6 or
V1.6 SP1/SP2
Software installation
Install the update of the HMI Designer from V1.6 to V1.7 as follows:
1. Unpack the ZIP-file HmiDesigner_V17_Update.ZIP in any directory of your PC.
2. If the HMI Designer is started, please close it.
3. Start the program HMI-Designer 1.6_to_1.7.EXE and follow the installation instructions.
Remark:
If you have an older design of the HMI Designer, please execute an update to HMI Designer V1.6 before you start this update. Regarding this matter following articles are available in the Application Knowledge Base:
