¨float Cycle-T¨ trip cannot be reset (remedied from B-SW V8.0)

Remedied from:
ECS axis module V8.0

Behaviour of new version?
The 'float Cycle-T' trip (C0168/1 = 210) can be reset by executing a Trip Reset (e. g. by C0043 = 0).

Which products are affected?
EPL-10200 (Drive PLC V7.2 and lower)
EVS93xxEI (Servo PLC V7.2 and lower)
EVS93xxET (Servo PLC with technology function V7.2 and lower)
ECS axis module V7.4 and lower

What happens?
The float Cycle-T trip (C0168/1 = 210) cannot be reset (e. g. via C0043).

When does the problem occur?
If a numerical overflow or a division by 0 occurs in case of calculations with REAL data type variables, the PLC target system activates the float Cycle-T trip. It is not possible to reset this trip via Trip Reset (C0043 = 0).

Possible diagnostics?
Check if code C0168/1 indicates 210.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Carry out mains switching of the PLC target system in order to reset the float Cycle-T trip.

Evaluation:
The float Cycle-T trip cannot be reset. This trip is only activated if a numerical overflow or a division by 0 occurs in case of calculations with REAL data type variables. REAL calculations are used quite rarely in Lenze PLC target systems.
