Controller sporadically does not supply current at controller enable (remedied from B-SW V7.4)
Remedied from:
ECSxA (ECS axis module application as of version 7.4) and standard applications Speed&Torque, Posi&Shaft and Motion
Behaviour of new version?
When using asynchronous motors with separated speed and position feedback, the output of pulses with every controller enable is ensured.
Which products are concerned?
ECSxA (ECS axis module application up to version 7.1)
and standard applications Speed&Torque, Posi&Shaft and Motion
Problem description:
At operation with asynchronous motors, the controller doesn't supply current despite controller enable. According to drive diagnostics (e. g.: C0183, DCTRL) pulses are enabled.
When does the problem occur?
Only after pulse enable when operating an asynchronous machine with separated speed and position feedback.
Possible diagnostics?
Read code C0054 (motor current).
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Change the switching frequency to fixed 4 kHz (C0018 = 1).
Evaluation
This behaviour occurs during commissioning and can be eliminated by proceeding as described.
