Remedied from:
ECSxA (ECS axis module application as of version 7.4)
and standard applications Speed&Torque, Posi&Shaft and Motion
Behaviour of new version?
When changing over the speed encoder system (C0495 or indirectly via C0491) from an encoder (TTL,SC,AS,AM) to the resolver, the standard rotor displacement angle (C0058 = -90) is automatically set.
Which products are concerned?
ECSxA (ECS axis module application up to version 7.1)
and standard applications Speed&Torque, Posi&Shaft and Motion
Problem description:
After changing over the speed feedback from the absolute value encoder to the resolver, the rotor displacement angle under C0058 remains at 0 ° instead of changing to the 90 ° required for the resolver.
The value still doesn't change after mains disconnection so that the rotor displacement angle is incorrect and the drive cannot provide the torque required.
When does the problem occur?
When commissioning synchronous motors and changing over from the absolute value encoder to the resolver.
Possible diagnostics?
Read code C0058.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Effect a rotor position adjustment or, for Lenze motors, set -90 ° in C0058.
Evaluation
When changing the feedback of synchronous motors, a rotor position adjustment is usually effected. With this, the correct rotor displacement angle is automatically determined. For 3rd-party motors, this is imperative because the -90 ° used for Lenze motors may be incorrect.
