Which products are concerned?
ECSxA ECS axis module application as of version V7.4
and standard applications Speed&Torque, Posi&Shaft and Motion
Eliminated function restriction
When homing to zero pulse (C0911 = 1), MCTRL_bActTPReceived_b is derived by the encoder system set under C0490 (position feedback).
Which products are concerned?
ECSxA ECS axis module application up to version V7.1
and standard applications Speed&Torque, Posi&Shaft and Motion
Problem description:
Speed feedback setting: Resolver and TTL encoder position feedback.
For homing to zero pulse, not the zero pulse of the incremental encoder is used but still that of the resolver. For external position encoders, homing to the zero pulse of the resolver is not required.
When does the problem occur?
When using separated feedback systems for speed and position control and homing to zero pulse.
Possible diagnostics?
Generation of an oscillogram of the actual speed and the rotor position of the resolver compared to the zero pulse of the TTL encoder. The speed characteristic shows that the home position is derived from the zero position of the resolver.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.
Evaluation
This homing mode involves a certain inaccuracy. There are no restrictions concerning the operation of the system.
