Function description
Up to now, the cam profiles for the torque/acceleration precontrol have exclusively been calculated via the second derivative of the position profile ServoPLC/ECS-A).
Thanks to the current CamDesigner Professional version 2.3 (not CamDesigner Basic!) an acceleration precontrol value for every point can be defined as a third column in the import file. The acceleration precontrol values can be entered in any unit. As before, the precontrol values are scaled internally (100 % peak value in case of operation with rated number of machine cycles).
Applications
Applications in case of which the profile generated automatically by the CamLoader as torque precontrol is not optimal, e. g. due to dynamical changes of mass moments of inertia (non-linear mechanical systems such as crank mechanisms, …).
