Torque limit in case of quick stop (QSP)

Which products are affected?
ECS axis module ECSxx series, operating software V6.7
EVS93xxEI (Servo PLC V6.5)
EVS93xxET (Servo PLC V6.5 equipped with technology function)

What happens?
If the torque reaches the maximum (Mmax) during the quick stop deceleration ramp, dips in the set torque are the consequence. Thus the quick stop deceleration ramp is prolonged.

When does the problem occur?
The response described before can be observed if the drive reaches the maximum torque while decelerating along the quick stop deceleration ramp selected.

Possible diagnostics?
None.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
The deviation in the quick stop deceleration ramp can be reduced by optimising the setting of the current controller (C0075 = Vp, C0076 = Tn) and the speed controller (C0070 = Vp, C0071 = Tn, C0072 = Td).

Evaluation:
In case of a quick stop set, torque dips lead to a prolongation of the quick stop deceleration ramp. In order to adhere to the quick stop deceleration ramp set the drive must not decelerate with the max. torque.
