Task Overrun after changing over applications to devices equipped with a firmware >= 6.3

Which products are affected?
EVS93xx-EI (Servo PLC Version 6.3 DSMC control board)
EVS93xx-ET (Servo PLC Version 6.3 DSMC control board)
EPL-10200-EI (Drive PLC Version 6.3)

What happens?
The 'overrun Taskx' error message is indicated (C0161 = 201-208). The PLC changes into the 'Stop' status and trips.

When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs with applications which have been created at the task run time performance limit in combination with firmware versions <6.3 and which are used afterwards on a device with a firmware version ≥6.3.
Further factors limiting the occurrence of the problem:

1. Only with applications which contain two or more time-controlled 'User Tasks'.
2. Only with highly utilised tasks (typically: > 70 % task run time).
Possible diagnostics?
None.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Optimise the affected projects regarding the run time.

Evaluation:
In the course of the continuous improvement process of our products, the monitoring of the task call tree has been corrected. As a result a more precise and 'closer' run time monitoring is carried out as of firmware versions ≥6.3.
In the field, the error occurs immediately after downloading and starting the PLC program. It can be avoided by applying the measure described above.
