Configuration of the non-existing terminals E5 and E6 of the Std I/O

Which products are affected?

8200vector/motec ≤ SW3.0

What happens?

When using the Std I/O it is also possible to implement the terminals E5 and E6 (not existing from the hardware side) into the configuration. The signal level can be varied by using the level inversion C0411.

According to the Lenze default setting the inputs E5 and E6 are already set to high level in contrast to E1 until E4. As a result, the assigned function will be activated immediately in case of a parameter setting.

When does the problem occur?

When using the Std I/O with configuration of the digital inputs via C0410 on the non-existing terminals E5 and E6.

Possible diagnostics?

C0410 (free configuration of digital input signals) selection of the digital inputs E5 and E6 are not used (assigned) in the subcodes 1 to 24 of C0410.

Short-term measures / recommendations?

Ensure that no unpermissible drive functions are activated when using the digital inputs E5 and E6 of the standard I/O, e.g. invert the digital input (C0411 = 16 - 63 or 80 - 127) before assigning a function to the digital inputs E5 or E6.

Evaluation

As of software version 3.1 all digital input terminals will have the same level (LOW level if not inverted).
