What happens?
The E82ZAFIC fieldbus function module (type: INTERBUS) is externally supplied with 24V. If the controller is disconnected from the mains the latest current DRIVCOM status (status word) will still be signalled (e.g. enable operation) although the controller is not switched on.
When does the problem occur?
The incorrect DRIVECOM status is only indicated if the controller is switched off. During operation the DRIVECOM status machine works correctly.
Possible diagnostics?
If in case of a switched off controller a DRIVECOM status unlike 'NOT READY TO SWITCH ON' (status word xxxx xxxx x0xx 0000 binary) is indicated the behaviour described above will occur.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.
Elimination:
As of software version 1.0 of the INTERBUS fieldbus function module, the DRIVECOM status 'NOT READY TO SWITCH ON' will be indicated if the controller is switched off.
