Manual positioning, simultaneous switching of MANUAL signals and relative positioning

Which products are affected?

9300EP servo positioning controller version V2.1

What happens?

After manual positioning it is possibly moved to an incorrect destination in case of a subsequent relative positioning.

When does the problem occur?

After manual positioning there was a move to an incorrect destination in subsequent relative positioning if, in order to terminate the manual positioning, the manual positioning signal 'POS-MANU-xxx' and the signal 'POS-MANUAL' had been reset simultaneously for manual mode.
Now POS-MANUAL can also be reset simultaneously with the manual positioning signal.

Possible diagnostics?

Display of the current position destination under C1220/1 retains the maximum value after manual positioning, which is only defined temporarily for manual positioning.

Short-term measures/recommendations?

Only switch back to program mode after a delay (POS-MANUAL-POS = Low). It is sufficient to provide an OFF delay of one cycle (1ms) in order to avoid the response. Use of DIGDEL in the 9300 or delayed actuation via the PLC.

Evaluation:

The simultaneous switching of MANUAL and MANU-POS or MANU-NEG does not really correspond to the logical response in manual positioning/jog. Normally the direction signal 'MANU-POS' is reset first; the drive then decelerates to a standstill and only now is there a switch back to program mode.
