Analog input 4 at extension board 3 does not respond
Which products are affected?
EPL-10200-EI (Drive PLC Version 6.3)
What happens?
The Drive PLC with an attached extension board 3 has five analog inputs(+/- 10V).
The Drive PLC does not evaluate negative voltages at analog input 4 of extension board 3 after a program download.
When does the problem occur?
After a program download without subsequent disconnection of the 24 V supply to the Drive PLC, negative voltages are not read in at input 4 of extension board 3.
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
If the error has occurred the voltage supply of the Drive PLC must be switched off. After reconnection analog input 4 works again.
Evaluation:
The error can only be identified during commissioning and can be avoided by applying the measures mentioned before.
