Dynamical shifting of profile segments in FB WELD1

Application:
  • Dynamical application for cardboard handling, adjustment modules, etc.
  • Some movements (profile segments) must be shifted during production.

Description:

The function has been inserted into FB WELD1. The FB already included a similar function for shifting the profile for creating a time window. Both functions must be selected with code C1446/0 as mode in WELD1.
  • 0 = Time, input WELD1-TIME is interpreted as time in ms. This corresponds to the original function (default setting)
  • 1 = Way, input WELD1-TIME is interpreted as path. The input is permanently evaluated and allows dynamical shifting of profile segments
  • 2 = Saved Way, input WELD1-TIME is interpreted as path. The input will only be read if  WELD1-XIN is within WELD1-LEN-C (closing time of the welding bar). If it leaves this range, the last value at WELD1-TIME will be stored and remains active for the rest of the traversing distance. The mode is only to be switched over in RSP.

For applications with FB WELD the Weld mode is to be set in C1308 in FB CDATA in order to avoid incorrect calculations between CDATA and WELD, as well as uncontrolled drive motions. In the base configuration with welding bar function, e. g. C0005 = 11000 or 14000 this adjustment is set automatically.
