Process data are defective while they are transferred to the DeviceNet Master

Which products are affected?

2175 AIF DeviceNet module up to software version ≤ 0.9 included

How is the reaction?

When 2175 AIF module is applied as DeviceNet slave in connection with 9300 Servo PLC 12 process data words are available. The 12 words are correctly transferred from DeviceNet Scanner (Master) to 2175 module. The 12 words of 2175 module to the master are incorrect. They show following data:

PDO 1
Given:....W1...W2...W3...W4
Actual:...W1...W2...W3...W4

PDO 2
Given:....W1......W2.....W3...W4
Actual:...C0011...C0005..W1...W2

PDO 3
Given:....W1.........W2.........W3...W4
Actual:...W3(PDO2)...W4(PDO2)...W1...W2

In the first and second word the PDO 2 shows code digit contents of C0011 and C0005 and transfers the data content back by two words (W3 & W4 of PDO 3 are cancelled). Thus, effectively there are 12 words available to the slave, but only 10 words from the slave.

When does the problem occur?

While process data are transferred from the slave to the master (DeviceNet Scanner)

Possible diagnostics?

The data content of word 1 of PDO2 is identical with C0011 and the data content of word 2 of PDO2 is identical with '3'.

Short-term measures / recommendations?

Only 10 words are available from the slave to the master. While the 10 process data words are evaluated by the slave in the control the shift is to be considered.
