Descripting
During the communication with the CanOpen communication profile the fieldbus module type 2175IB sends sporadically 'remote frame' telegrams with an identifier = 0 and a data length = 0 ('remote frames' = special telegrams which should not be supported by the 2175IB module). As a result, the bus load is unnecessarily increased.
The response – and therefore the reaction – to a 'remote frame' telegram depends on the slaves used. Lenze participants respond to such a telegram with '
FF FF'. This response does not lead to any reaction in the CanBus because CANopen is not affected by this data contents.
Elimination
Due to the implementation of a 'work around' the module does not send sporadically 'remote frames' telegrams any more.
Short-term measure in the previous version
None
Possible diagnostics
By using a software tool for analysing the bus 'remote frame' telegrams can be identified.
